Who made what you wear? Have you ever asked it to yourself?

All the socks you find on STILE12 are produced within our company in Ospitaletto (BS).
We buy the best quality yarn, raw material from foreign countries but processed in Italy (cotton can not grow here!), And we use them to make all our items, which are then always packed on site.

To guarantee traceability, we have been relying on T-Fashion certification for some years:

TF - Traceability & Fashion is the voluntary Traceability system, promoted by Unioncamere and the Italian Chambers of Commerce and managed by Unionfiliere, to redevelop and enhance the products of the Moda chain, protagonist of Made in Italy.

The Voluntary Traceability System is promoted and shared by:

THE ENTIRE CAMERA SYSTEM
FILCTEM - CGIL
FEMCA CISL
ITALIA FASHION SYSTEM - CONFINDUSTRIA
FEDERORAFI - CONFINDUSTRIA
FEDERMODA-CONFARTIGIANATO
FEDERMODA-CNA
UNIONTESSILI - CONFAPI
FEDERAZIONE FASHION ITALIA CONFCOMMERCIO
TESSILIVARIAN FEDERATION
CONSUMER NATIONAL UNION

The aim of the project is the creation of a voluntary certification scheme able to guarantee maximum transparency to the consumer:

to the processing sites of the main stages of the production process;
to the main characteristics of the product in terms of healthiness, environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility.

Being able to trace the identity of the product, up to its origin, means generating a virtuous circle in which consumers and producers become the protagonists of a conscious critical system:

the consumer has the guarantee that the product is buying has "traveled with a regular passport and not clandestine";
the manufacturer can build his competitive advantage by also focusing on quality and ethics;
the certification is issued and controlled by a public authority such as the Chamber of Commerce;
The TF - Traceability & Fashion System is voluntary and does not replace the mandatory indications by law but integrates them into a special label which tells the story that the product travels along the entire supply chain.

The verification activity, carried out by the inspection structures of the Chamber System operating according to the principles of impartiality, independence and technical competence, is based on checks carried out at the plants of companies participating in the traceability system and their suppliers / contractors. Self-declaration by producers is not enough.
